Alice-Salomon-Hochschule Berlin Intercultural Conflict Management

The Master programme Intercultural Conflict Management integrates different approaches from the studies of human rights, democracy, diversity and international development. Interdisciplinary and application-oriented structured, the Master programme offers an in-depth insight into the theory and practice of conflict management.

The study programme is intended for students from different cultures and various professional backgrounds. It prepares graduates for working in Governmental and Non-Governmental Organisations on a regional and international level and in the fields of international cooperation, humanitarian aid and social development.

The curriculum comprises of subjects such as Theoretical Approaches to Culture, Democracy and Conflict, Fields and Framework of Conflict Management, Social Research as well as Methods of Conflict Resolution and Community Intervention.

Alice-Salomon-Hochschule Berlin Social Work as a Human Rights Profession (english)

The Master programme Social Work as a Human Rights Profession offers an interlinked perspective of social work and human rights on a local, national and international level. Moreover, the Master responds to problems connected to human rights in social policies.

The programme is designed for students from different countries and cultures and promotes cross-cultural learning. By finishing the Master, students will be able to theoretically and practically apply human rights issues in social services, the private sector as well as in Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations.

The curriculum consists of modules such as social problems, human rights projects, social action fields as well as social movements and prepares students for a professional practice based on the idea of human rights.
