The Master programme Intercultural Conflict Management integrates different approaches from the studies of human rights, democracy, diversity and international development. Interdisciplinary and application-oriented structured, the Master programme offers an in-depth insight into the theory and practice of conflict management.
The study programme is intended for students from different cultures and various professional backgrounds. It prepares graduates for working in Governmental and Non-Governmental Organisations on a regional and international level and in the fields of international cooperation, humanitarian aid and social development.
The curriculum comprises of subjects such as Theoretical Approaches to Culture, Democracy and Conflict, Fields and Framework of Conflict Management, Social Research as well as Methods of Conflict Resolution and Community Intervention.
Der interdisziplinär konzipierte Masterstudiengang International Social Sciences verbindet Sozialpädagogik, Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, Friedens- und Konfliktforschung und Sozial-, Wirtschafts-, Kultur- und Rechtswissenschaften.
Berufsfelder sind beispielsweise Sozialmanagement in der Katastrophenhilfe und Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, Management und Evaluierung von nachhaltigen Entwicklungsprojekten, Menschenrechtsarbeit, zivilen Friedensdienst oder aktive Beteiligung in den verschiedenen Verantwortungsbereichen des Global Governance, der internationalen Wirtschaftsordnung.
The Mindfulness & Leadership master's program is an international, practice-based academic program that is the only one of its kind in the world to combine mindfulness and leadership. By finishing the Master, students will be able to theoretically and practically apply human rights issues in social services, the private sector as well as in Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations.
